Book Cover - Romeo and Juliet

Although people say not to judge books by their covers, they do.  Book cover design is a very important process when publishing books.  The idea of putting the whole story into one single image is very fascinating to me.  Craftsmanship doesn’t always follow what I desire to do, but I did my best.  I will do a much better one next time. 

Master Copy - Norman Rockwell

Norman Rockwell is an illustrator from the Golden Age.  His work was famous for capturing the American Dream, and I love how he communicated his message so clearly by exaggerating the gesture of the characters.  The subject matter was so modest and his humor was so clean.  

Below is the master copy I did from the original image above.  It was a privilege on my part to have had the chance to imitate his art.
